Nadia is the Ecosystem-based Adaptation Thematic Lead for the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN). She has over 15 years of experience working at the interface between research, policy and practice. Nadia also holds a senior researcher position at the Centre for Sustainability Transitions (CST) at Stellenbosch University, where she lectures and supervises post-graduate students. Nadia is currently a coordinating lead author in the IPBES Nexus Assessment and has a Medical science Honours specialising in Environmental Toxicology, an MSc in Wild Animal Biology and a transdisciplinary PhD in Conservation Ecology. You will find her near water or trying to get better at pottery when not behind a screen.
