Charlotte provides research and technical support on issues of climate finance, including work on private sector finance and international climate fund processes. She has managed an IKI funded project providing support to the African Group of Negotiators (AGN) since 2016, and is currently the project manager for the Southern African Renewable Investment and Growth (SOARING) programme. Charlotte also continues to play an integral role in the implementation of the Southern Africa Climate Finance Partnership (SACFP). Her previous work includes water-infrastructure related projects, e.g. the Climate Resilience Infrastructure Development Facility (CRIDF) assessing the climate finance readiness of water institutions. Her interests lie in sustainable development in the African context, and policy that supports the identification, design and integration of innovative, bottom-up solutions that address climate and environmental challenges. Charlotte holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Development Economics from the University of Cape Town.
