SACFP Practitioner Training Course

Practitioner Training and targeted capacity-building are important pillars of the current phase of the SACFP. The SACFP, in partnership with the University of Cape Town, is facilitating a formal online course for a selection of practitioners from various financial institutions.

 

 

Course Structure:

 

 

 

The course includes teams from six Southern African institutions, including those recently accredited to the Green Climate Fund, as well as yet to be accredited. In addition, the SACFP has commissioned targeted training in line with the expressed needs of core stakeholders, and across a set of critical areas that influence the ability to unlock climate finance, including climate rationale, project at risk and portfolio evaluation.
