The SACFP Climate Finance Forum 2022

The Southern Africa Climate Finance Partnership (SACFP) gathered its Community of Practice in Cape Town from the 20th to the 22nd of September 2022 for an adventure into the uncharted waters of climate finance implementation. This event marks the Community of Practice’s first in-person meeting since the relaxation of COVID19 restrictions. A full photo-story of the event can be viewed here, in our SouthSouthNorth Gallery.

The footage and outcome of this event, as well as the previous SACFP in-person events (2019, 2018), were also distilled into a 3-minute video, which can be viewed below. This video is the first in a series of knowledge products reviewing the successes and challenges of utilising novel knowledge brokering methodologies within a community of budding climate finance practitioners in Southern Africa. If you are at COP 27 this month, you may also see our video featured on various displays in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
