Description: A pre-feasibility study has been conducted on an innovative low-carbon energy solution for the formalising of the Kosovo informal settlement in Cape Town. Kosovo is one of 27 informal settlements currently the focus of a fast-track housing delivery process driven by a partnership between the Western Cape Department of Human Settlement and the City of Cape Town. Funding for the study was provided by the UK Prosperity Fund.

- Opportunities and challenges in implementing low-carbon energy solutions in low-income communities
